This course will lay out a simple step by step process on how to understand and, if needed, appeal your property assessment. It is directed towards the residential property owner but is also beneficial to the commercial property owner. A correct assessment could save you money now and into the future.

• Understand property classifications and applicable exemptions;
• Know if your assessment is equitable;
• Know time sensitive, key dates;
• Research for information;
• Prepare and present at the property assessment review panels.
