New Province Wide Company – Vision Property Advisors
Now offering Reserve Fund (Depreciation) Studies and
Insurance Appraisals

We are pleased to announce that we have added another service for our very valued clients – Reserve Fund (Depreciation) Studies.

Rob and Gina Ironmonger have just completed a very extensive program of study and have been awarded the designation CRP – Certified Reserve Planner.

A Certified Reserve Planner is a professional that performs all types of reserve fund planning services for condominiums, non-profit and cooperative housing, institutions, government, public property companies and many other organizations. This planning is essential to provide capital resources for maintaining buildings in a safe and good condition.[i] The format that we use is recognized as the most advanced standard in Canada.

A Reserve Fund Study, also referred to as a Depreciation or Contingency Report, is a detailed assessment of the current state of a property and all its components. Components are items that will typically wear out before the structure itself, such as windows, structural systems, roofs, siding, elevators, etc. It will consider depreciation over the next 30 years, plus the expected costs, timing for replacements and repairs are projected while taking into consideration the return on funding investments during this time.

Keystone Appraisals, in partnership with Thompson River Appraisals in Kamloops and Jackson and Associates in Courtenay, have formed a new company called Vision Property Advisors Inc. Vision Property Advisors currently has three offices, located in Trail, Kamloops and Courtenay, BC. All appraisers are designated appraisers (AACI, P.App) with the Appraisal Institute of Canada and/or Certified Reserve Planners(CRP). These offices and network of highly qualified personnel are positioned well to provide Insurance Appraisals and Reserve Fund Studies throughout British Columbia as well as, commercial and residential valuation appraisals, and other services in their local regions.

We would like to thank our family, friends and customers for their support as we continue to grow and expand our business of professional real estate valuation and consulting services that our clients can depend on in their decision making process in the protection of their real estate wealth.

Please contact us for a tour of our offices or check out our websites.
